We join to scientific findings that demonstrate incontrovertibly that climate change is a reality and will produce significant effects.

Adapting includes taking actions to reduce risks and vulnerabilities, and building capacities at different levels of government and citizens to face that impact.

From our axis of Adaptation to Climate Change, we promote measures and practices aimed at limiting impacts and increasing the resilience of citizens and natural systems, including biodiversity, forests, coasts, cities, the agricultural sector, industry , among others.

We understand that adaptation must be complemented by “mitigation” that includes the actions that seek to reduce greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere.

The adaptation includes:

  • Reduce vulnerability while promoting sustainable development.
  • Learn to benefit from the positive impact that change could produce.
  • Promote short, medium and long-term actions and allocate support funds.
  • Planning that facilitates adjustments to new and changing environments.
  • Public-private collaboration to create an innovative urban ecosystem.
  • Disaster management.
